i have never met someone with any public notoriety before today. i was super stoked and a bit giddy, like a school child, when standing around halcyon this afternoon listening to Heather Armstrong of dooce talk about this and that. i was completely impressed by how simply beautiful she was and her extreme sense of modesty. she was totally unassuming. i adore those characteristic in people. it's completely inspiring!
