swampy, ditty and myself spent sunday afternoon at the ball park watching some longhorn baseball. it started of a bit on the bad side with Stanford scoring 5 runs in the 1st inning but Texas gave a good fight. not good enough to save a win but a fight worth fighting. Stanford took the win with a score 12-9.

while sitting right behind homeplate, 7 rows up... i looked around and saw some 'old schoolers'. you know... the people from yesteryear, the old folks. i hate to use that term but there is really no other to describe it. i love them! i love watching elderly couples who still get out and enjoy life. and old men who have been friends for decades bust on each other. and the ladies who still giggle when they whisper gossip amongst themselves. i LOVE it! it's great how they come out to support something and get so fired up about! i only hope i am as blessed to live so many years and still have my vigor.
